Flatbed shipping while only paying for the space you need.

We offer shared truckload capacity on open deck trucks.
You share the space. You share the cost. We all reduce emissions.

Paying for a Full Truckload

When You Only Use Part of It?

We combine two to three shipments moving in the same direction onto one shared open deck truck.

Cut your shipping costs on partial loads—without sacrificing service.

Approximately 50% of open-deck truckloads run partially empty.

PartialFlatbed is built for the space you don't use.

Shipping Costs Are Rising.

Efficiency Matters More Than Ever.

Shipping costs continue to rise due to capacity constraints, fuel volatility, and driver availability.

Most solutions focus on finding cheaper carriers or incremental rate reductions—but that only optimizes an outdated model.

The real opportunity is better utilization of truck capacity.

How it works.

Simple in theory, demanding in execution.

PartialFlatbed—also referred to as LTL Flatbed, shared flatbed load, or oversize LTL freight—is a method of combining multiple shipments onto a single open-deck trailer. It is designed for freight that requires flatbed or step deck equipment but does not utilize the full capacity of a trailer.

This model applies when a shipment only occupies a portion of the trailer’s available load factor. Load factor refers to how much of the trailer is used, either by physical space (deck dimensions) or by allowable weight within legal limits. Instead of moving partially empty, the remaining capacity is utilized by other compatible shipments.

To operate effectively, shipments must be carefully coordinated before transit. This involves aligning several key factors such as routing, timing and compatibility.

Proper planning ensures that all shipments remain within legal load limits while maintaining safe loading practices.

By consolidating multiple partial shipments onto one trailer, this approach reduces unused capacity and creates a more efficient and sustainable way to transport open-deck freight.

From an operational standpoint, a PartialFlatbed shipment moves similarly to a full truckload. A single carrier is assigned to the move, handling pickups and deliveries along a planned route.

The key difference is that the trailer is shared. Two to three shipments are loaded, secured, and transported together, with each shipment occupying a defined portion of the trailer based on its size and weight.

Partial Doesn’t Mean Slow

It Means Planned.

Flatbed shipments that don’t fill a full truck usually face two options:
  • Book a full truckload immediately and pay for unused space
  • Wait and try to combine internally—often delaying the shipment

PartialFlatbed now offers you a 3rd option —book instantly and stop paying for unused space.

Fewer Trucks

Lower Emissions

PartialFlatbed reduces unnecessary truck movements by consolidating multiple compatible shipments onto a single open-deck trailer.
  • Fewer trucks required per shipment
  • Better utilization of available trailer capacity
  • Reduced empty miles across key lanes
By moving more freight with fewer trucks, we reduce emissions at the source of inefficiency in the system.

Key Coverage Areas

We're building PartialFlatbed services across Canada and the USA.

As we scale, we’re expanding PartialFlatbed across major North American freight corridors—connecting Canada and the United States through a unified partial-deck network.

Lets Review.

If it fits on a flatbed or step deck and doesn’t take up the full trailer, it’s worth a conversation. Improve your bottom line without sacrificing service levels.
